ok i finaly had my back boiler condemed on monday and gonna get a new boiler soon

but can i still use my gas oven???

a friend of a friend said somets about it being capped off?? for this what would he of done cos i don't think he has??

i have 2 little boys who obversely need feeding but if there at risk i don't wanna use the cooker

all i saw him do was take a orange knob and the fuse from the computer bit

Yeah you can still use your cooker/oven, don't worry.

its just i never saw him do anything to the pipes ect that go to the boiler

forgot to ad he had to get other half to sign something to say not to use etc

It all depends on who turned it off.

I would only turn off the supply cock in the boiler but some others are not so helpful and block the gas meter so you cannot cook.

I suppose they are just wanting to further pressurise you to get them to fit a new boiler but its very unfriendly.
