Any Regulations????

I have a full height cupboard in my hallway that houses the gas meter and electric meter about half way up the wall. I need to pass two waste pipes at low level from my kitchen through the cupboard to get to an existing SVP on the other side. My question is:

Are there any regulations that stops me doing this and if so what regulations are they as I can't seem to find anything concrete to explain if this is okay.

I don't think there are any regs which affect you as a result of the waste pipe.
