America is booming under trump.
I am somewhat surprised you didnt read your own link:

Debt is Rising Unsustainably
Spending is Growing Faster than Revenue
Recent Legislation Will Substantially Worsen the Long-Term Outlook if Extended
Major Trust Funds Are Headed Toward Insolvency
High and Rising Debt Will Have Adverse and Potentially Dangerous Consequences

Fixing the Debt Will Get Harder the Longer Policymakers Wait

Under current law, CBO projects federal debt held by the public will rise from 78 percent of GDP this year.

So you are falsely claiming the uk public debt is higher.

2017.
Still lower than ours..
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_public_debt

Federal debt held by the american public 78%.
UK public debt 85.9% of GDP (2018).

Your not comparing apples to apples. I would expect that from someone who doesn't have a clue.

US Gross debt is 105% which is the comparison you need to make vs UK Gross debt of about 86% of GDP.

The 76% you refer to is US Debt after removing intergovernmental debt. A comparison with the UK would be about about 64.5% (the Gov owes about 1/4 of the debt to itself)

Go spread the knowledge.

Actually I was referring to the link you shared from Wikipedia.

Where the CIA says the IS has a lower ratio of debt than the UK but the IMF disagrees

#RWR Mode engaged

Bbbbut Japan is outside the EU and it has a higher debt to gdp than the EU and the we were told the darn EU was the cause of this debt and that once we left we would be free of this debt.

It's not supposed to be like this. Well I don't care the debt is what I think it is. There!

Fake Debt.

Why does Ryler feel impelled to spread false stories that are so easily disproved?

"Lies and hogwash"

Indeed it is.

We live in a post fact world. They can shovel lies faster than you can disprove them until you simply cannot keep up.

I would expect that from someone who doesn't have a clue.

Which you clearly don't.
As of December 31, 2018, debt held by the public was $16.1 trillion and intragovernmental holdings were $5.87 trillion, for a total of $21.97 trillion. Debt held by the public was approximately 77% of GDP in 2017, ranked 43rd highest out of 207 countries.

Its wonderful when your own links disprove yourself. You shot yourself in both feet by providing that data.

It just shows how silly you are. You are on fillyboy levels of discussing issues you have no idea.

Now tell me, what is $21.97 trillion as a percentage of US GDP.

Now go look at how much intragovernmental debt the UK holds.

Nothing in your links to back up your bogus claim.....

Which is as I suspected.

I understand Ryler spontaneously combusted, and cancelled his subscription to the Daily Excess, when it said

"BREXIT took its most monumental leap forward last week as the EU passed Boris Johnson's Withdrawal Agreement and the UK left the bloc, four years after the vote. However, experts believe the country will eventually rejoin, thanks to the younger generations."
