Are we stuck in some sort of time warp here with this guilt thing??

Being arrested does NOT make you guilty.

It's a simple concept martian. Some you should be familiar with.

Why has the news gone quite? thers still a little girl out there somewere. Is torturing a suspcet wrong?

News hasn't gone quiet. She still gets mentioned in each edition.
Thing is, the police can't really say much now until he is brought to trial so any jury have as little chance as possible of pre-forming their opinion/verdict.
They will be beavering away like hell behind the scenes as they won't want to be seen to have made any cock-ups over this.

no no no.... theirs a girls out there dead or alive... no one knows. She culd be being kept alive by an accomplice? we need to find her ASAP !!!forget any trial...lets get that girl back for her sake and her pairents !!

She is being searched for.
And you cannot 'forget' about the trial.

The police were that slow in arresting this guy (even though he had the only left-hand drive truck in town) that he had all night to drive into the mountains 30 or 40 miles away, hike for an hour, bury her deep in the ground in the undergrowth of a dense forest and get back again. She'll never show up if that is the case. Just what were the police up to for the first 12 hours?

why? please explain?

That's not fair to Sombrero.

It is frustrating that the police seemed to make a very slow start.

I myself could not understand that the police kept saying they were hoping to interview him again in the hope that he might be able to provide them with some useful information...
