It's not just kids. My local football ⚽️ pitches a riddled with litter after a Sunday football game.

This year I will be putting up signs just before they all roll up for their weekly kick around.

Please pick up your Litter after the game

"I have two dogs that I walk twice a day on this field. They shįt and I pick up after them.
If you don't pick up I won't pick up. That's two shïts in the morning two shïts in the evening x that by 7 = 28 shîts. And if that's not enough I persuade the other dog ‍♀️ walkers to do the same"

The UK is the 'dirty man' of Europe and it's getting worse.
Manchester has to be the litter capital of the country. Not so much the city centre, but the suburbs, especially North Manchester, filthy.
How would you describe an individual who cares so little for his country and his fellow man, has so little respect that he remains happy to dump their rubbish on the ground and expect someone else to follow them and pick it up?
I don't even think they expect someone else to pick it up Harry; I think they simply don't care that they are wading knee-deep in litter.

Look at how people dress these days; how they disfigure themselves with tattoos and piercings; what they watch on TV; the grafitti everywhere - it's all litter...it all blends in with the litter on the street.

I always thought UK was a bit better than most of Europe, then became impressed by ordinary parts of Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Norway. Then there's Luxembourg, and Monaco where I reckon there's a fleet of silent Miele vacuum cleaners on street duty every night.

Or... they don't chuck their crap on the floor.

As for breeding scum... Ask yourself, "Is my child scum?" When the answer across this forum is a resounding "No!", it's quite easy and quite wrong to assume that it's everyone else's child at fault. But every other parent will say so too. Get my drift?

No, don't be silly. I'm sure everyone on here would call their son/daughter/partner scum if they found out they'd dropped some litter.

Forum members partner: I have a confession to make. When we were out for a walk yesterday, I threw a choc bar wrapper away.
Forum member: You what?!? You are a piece of scum!!! Got it?!? SCUM!!!

Forum members child: I have a confession to make. When I was out with my mates yesterday, I threw an empty can of juice away.

Yes, I'm confident that's how it would play out ;)

(cue folk saying 'my family wouldn't do that' because of course, they have eyes on them 24/7 ;))
