Hi

I’m in the market for a decent set of auger bits to mainly be used cutting out mortise locks, night latches, etc. I’ve been toying with the following sets:

I’m not a professional but I am taking the IOC (level 2) construction awards at the local college and I do all second fix jobs at my own and friends and families houses. Hence, I would rather have a decent set which will last a long time.

I usually just stick to Record, Marples and Stanley when buying tools, however I’m a bit lost when it comes to these.

Any advice?

Also, can anyone recommend what sizes I should be buying

i have a mixture of auger bits in my kit,ive never invested in a set in the 20 years ive been a chippy, but if i had the money i would buy the bacho set,i mostly tend to use spade bits when i do mortise locks.but you tend to keep them all together in your toolbox rather then keeping them in there nice shiny box.
