I need a simple nail gun for holding bendy-ply onto softwood battens while the glue sets

Saw this stanley for £25 which gets a pretty poor write-up:

Which led me to this which seems a lot better for twice the price:

Anybody any experience of either? £50 is probably a bit excessive for a one off job but it looks like it'll be useful for other things, and I appreciate it is an awful lot cheaper than a 'proper' one.

If the job is to be hidden, i.e. painted, filled or veneered/laminated over, then I'd recommend one of these instead:

A hammer tacker, available for about £12 upwards, or alternatively something like this:

At a similar price. From experience bendy ply is very soft and it can be extremelt difficult to get a decent fix in it with any form of 16g or 18g pinner, air or electric - the pins tend to fire straight through. Staples will hold much better and can be removed once the glue has set and the holes filled with 2-pack. Despite having several pinners at my disposal I still use staplers for this type of job
