B&Q cupboards/ Ikea doors and fittings?

I would ;like to fit an Ikea/Adel kitchen but have lots of pipes and electrics so need space between cupboards and wall. (Ikea cupboards need to be fitted directly onto wall, or so i've been told)

Or could i use B&Q or other cupboards that leave a gap, and use ikea doors or are the fittings and fixtures all different?
Are there any other cupboards apart from B&Q that leave space at back for pipes etc?

Has anyone experience of this?

Ikea tend to be a law unto themselves when sizes are involved.

(just check out the bed sizes)

Given the choice I would go with a more local supplier. B&Q kitchens are not unique, there are many suppliers out there, go sniff around.
