I imagine they are pretty hard stats to get hold of, can you flesh that out a bit?

Just my experience of time in prison. Spent time in the 80/90 and 2007/9 in a range of places. Armley, Doncaster, Strangways, Walton, Preston, Wakefield, Risley, Belmarsh, Rugby and Sudbury.

Was Jeffrey Archer middle class ? What about Jonathon Aitkin ? Or were they upper class ?

People from middle class families normally have more of what they want ie; i was doing a job recently in a college. An awful lot of the youngsters, that had cars, had cars newer than mine. I been working for nearly 30 years.
Plus, crims from good middle class families can afford better lawyers. They also get given a fair bit of leeway from judges. Where as nasty working class herberts need teaching a lesson. The law is classist imo.

Good question calorific.

I don't think anyone has come up with the ultimate answers to this.

I do know though that if i had my time again i would find, and become firm friends with, Jo Frost aka super nanny. :)
Lovely woman - and dominant too - I`ll bet she likes a strong man :P

Payment protection insurance. Con millions of people for billions of pounds for your own benefit and when you get caught out just pay it back.
