Badly fitted door and window

Badly fitted window and door their is a 3 inch gap above both and doors move when they are closed .what can be done I don't just want it filled with foam as it won't be stable enough thankyou

yep that's shocking they should be packed up from the bottom, but in reality the openings should have been made to better tolerances. To be honest they should be stable enough, you wouldn't normally fix through the head anyway

Frames should have been made taller or openings shorter, only options now are frame extenders and foam to finish
