Hi, can anyone give advise on how to lift a bamboo floor, t&g + adheasive. Hope to relay the floor after central heating fitted. Is there anything that can be poured into the Grooves to "loosen" the adheasive.
Many thanks
Colin

is the floor actually glued down, if so its a case of brute force, either way i doubt you will beable to relay the floor.

Hi, the floor is not stuck down but a small amount of adhesive on the tongue and grove so if you lift and pull you would just break off the tongue. I was just wondering if anyone had used any liquid substance or heat to loosen the glue used.
Thanks
Colin

No, there is not really a product that could do this.
You could lift the floor which will damage most of the T&G's, cut the tongues off completely and relay fully bonded to your floor using parquet adhesive.
