Hi. I'm changing my basin mixer tap and the replacement has fixed 10mm chrome plated tails. I'm after some fitting tips and have some questions -

The best way to bend the tails?

Can I cut the tails down without damaging the chrome?

Should I remove the chrome where the compression fitting sits?

Thanks.
