Guys,

A little help wanted please.

I connected my fan unit up and set it to switch off after 10 mins, but unfortunately it just keeps running well beyond the maximum 20 mins.

I took a connection from the light switch which had Red, Red with a brown sleeve and earth.

On the fan unit I have 3 connection, switched live, permanent live and neutral, can you advice please?

Seems to go off after longer than the maximum time, but I can live with that.

Cheers all

Have you tried re-adjusting the timer?

Since it goes off eventually, this suggests the wiring is ok.

I'm convinced some of the timer adjustment dials work 'the wrong way round'.
