Hi,

I think the solution to my problem is very simple, but it seems people are too cautious to provide me advice! so I apologise is this question may seem dumb - I'm a newbie DIYer!

I have a cable that comes out of my bathroom wall. This is the supply for my mirror cabinet (it has LEDs and a built-in shaver socket and a built in transformer). The mirror cabinet has some flex wire which needs to be connected to the supply. The supply is appropriately fused (as instructed in the manual).

Is a junction box appropriate appropriate to be used in a humid environment like a bathroom? or is there a special way to connect a live cable to the flex of the appliance in a bathroom?

Thanks,

Matt
