Hi
I have purchased an inline extractor fan as I was advised that these are good https://www.toolstation.com/airvent-100mm-mixed-flow-inline-extractor-fan/p70282
It will be going in a small bathroom. I will position it in the middle of the bathroom as to get above the shower there is a noggin in the way but I think it should still be OK. I will have to run the ducting along the joists. I bought some 100mm PVC ducting to attach to the in line fan that will be mounted on floor above bathroom toward the eaves so out the way.
Am I OK to just clip this to the joist with some sort of fixings or should I box it in with plywood or something?
Can anyone give me some advice on this?
Thanks
