For a shower extractor fan where does it normally get powered from.

The ceiling rose or the pull cored light switch?

Thanks

As the fan requires a Neutral.
Where would you expect that to be.

you should take a feed from the light fitting

to a fan isolator switch

then from the fan isolator switch to the fan

and dont forget part p :D

Does the fan require
live and neutral
or
permanent live, switched live, and neutral
?

Also not forgetting that the Manufacturers Instructions may stipulate a 1A or 3A fuse to protect the fan.
