If i fan has a timer on it, it needs an 3 pole iso switch fitting outside zones right? But what if fan is on its own independently run switch, can it just be run from a normal 10A pullcord?

my dad rents out a flat which people were leaving light therefore fan on he fitted a timer fan via a momentary pull switch so they could pull the switch to start the fan then it would switch off after the preset time i helped him wire it worked a treat. if its in your house and you dont mind going back and switching it off after the steam/smells have gone, yes wire it through a pull cord

sorry if i read this wrong i think or thought you were trying to run a timer fan via a pull cord, you would need an isolator either a 3 pole if using a timer fan or dp sw spur if using a pull cord controlled only fan
