Bathroom renovation - good quote?

Just checking a quote of 1500 + materials is about right from a mate of a mate:

Using acrojacks to hold up joists will removing rotten wood and fitting with new,
bricking up walls,
fitting backerboards,
fitting already purchased shower unit,
tiling / straight forward plumbing etc

attached some pics as it is now...

the room is roughly 1.5-2 meters square
