Hello. My bathroom tap stop working and I was told by crosswater that it needed a new cartridge. I replaced the cartridge as adviced following the manual but now when I turn the water on the water doesn't stop running throught the tap. Please help as I am now so frustrated about it and I don't really have a fund to call a plumber. Many thanks

The new cartridge must be exactly the same length as the old one.....can you pop it out again and compare them side by side?

Was there a thin rubber washer on the base of the new cartridge - and did the old one bring its washer out with it?
Failing that, the cartridge could be faulty - if you look at it end on you can see the ports opening and closing as you turn the thing.
John :)
