Hi all,
We are having an issue with the sealing around our bath - see picture attached.
The paint & plaster are being stripped off the wall by the sealant around the bath - this is probably due to the room being re-plastered and not left alone for long enough and the plaster to dry, it was painted and the bath fitted days later.
Our plan is to:
1) remove the other areas of damaged plaster & paint, and the bath sealant / mastic
2) prep the wall with sanding and primer,
3) lay a row of tiles across the top of the bath
4) re-seal the bath, but against the tiles
Is this a good solution?
Any suggestions for specific type of tile adhesive for this type of thing?
Very many thanks for suggestions & opinions!
