baxi 105e dhw problem

hi can any one advise me i have the obove boiler and when i turn h\water tap on boiler flame cuts in and water gets hot after about 15 secs of hotwater flame cuts out and hot water goes luke warm after another 15 secs flame cuts back in and hot water returns keeps doing this all the time that the tap is turned on or if your in the shower bit of a pain on a cold morning any comments most apreciated thanks ian baxi 105e

Thats probably the cause but exact timings are important.

Taking half the flow rate at the hot tap, do the times both stay the same?

It can also be an ignition system problem.

If i reduce the flow rate at h/water tap water seems to stay hotter longer does this mean a ignition problem thanks Ian

do you mean the heat exchange plate i replaced this about a year ago will it be blocked this quickly thanks Ian

if you replaced the plate h/ex for the same reason a year ago it will more than likely be exactly the same problem, the system needs cleaning, properly, to prevent a recurrence in another year or so.
