Can anyone please advise? The boiler is a Baxi Bahama 100, is approx 7 years old, the problem is the hot water. When the hot water has not been used for an hour or so and we go to turn on the hot water tap, the boiler ignites when the tap is turned on, hot water starts running through, then after approx 60 - 80 seconds the boiler cuts out and has to be turned off and re-set before we can get hot water again. Once this has been done it continues to supply hot water until it is left standing any lenghth of time, then it happens again. The boiler has been fully serviced twelve months ago and at that time had new flow switches to the heating and water supplies as this was the same problem then. It has also has a new fan fitted. Seeing this seemed to be the same problem as last time the flow switch to the hot water has been removed and bench tested and it working perfectly, it is not sludged up or damaged in any way but the problem still remains. Since the flow switches were fitted twelve months ago it has given us no trouble up till the present time. Can any one shed any light on this? Any advice would be welcomed.
