i have a bahama gas 100 combi that now will not fire up for c/h or dhw on demand. we had a plumer in who changed the flow switch, this was ok for a day, more luck i think. no lights show on the display when activated, boiler sounds like it wants to fire then a click is heard and the whole thing shuts down. system has been drained, expansion tank ok, flow switches new. please can anyone offer some advise as to what may be wrong.
thanks

erm yes! I think you should keep taking your tablets...
not sure if your advice really helps me here,
thanks anyway
confused????????

ok, I have now checked the pump and that is working ok. the diverter unit is moving when switching between dhw and ch but I am not sure if is returning to the same position reguardless of the useage.
Any ideas what else could be the problem,
thanx

i assume yiu have read the never ending thread on the barcelona :?:
just cos a switch is new dont assume its ok test is
starting to sound like flow restriction or curcit board

Kev the reason I delete wot I rote is that I started ranting about a Barcelona. Then I saw that this post is about a BAHAMA. Better get YOUR rubber out?

I'm not familiar with Bahamas, but does the fan run?
If the diverter doesn't quite move full travel the switche(s) might not switch... Needs an engr with the manual - or the experience!

if the boiler is trying to work, eg u can here the fan, but the boile does not spark
i think u will find the problem is to do with the air pressure switch,
thats the switch that tells the boiler, that the fan is running,

thanks for all replies, i have now called a plummer (fingers crossed, no more flow switches) I will be passing on your suggestions, no ch no dhw!! cant stand it any more.
please keep the advice comming,
thanks again...

if there is no spark, he really is looking at the fan or air pressure switch, when u switch it on do u hear the fan spinning but never to c a spark in the hole?

thanx to all who replied. the problem was sorted, guess what........
FLOW SWITCH !!!!!!!!!!
