Hello, new to this so bear with me,

My baxi 80e is 8 years old, it has had 4-5 diaphragm fitted and a thermister.
Recently it has had a new diverter assembley, a new pressure relief valve fitted.
after having these new things fitted the boiler had rising pressure which i kept having to bleed to keep the pressure down also the blow off pipe was constantley dripping when the CH was running.
due to the high pressure, the boiler blew the diverter assy from the joint to the plate heat exchange which cause the rubber ring seal to come out of the housing.
the plumber came the other day and 'Advised' me to get a new boiler rather than pay another £250 to replace the expansion vessel.
is this the acual problem and do i need a new boiler, can anyone please advise as the cost of a new boiler will be £1500.
after putting the boiler back together the pressure has remind constant ish between 1-2 bar but slowly rising
thank you and sorry for the long message just want to give all the info i can.

Dont mean to sound stupid, but you definately have closed the filling loop yeah? That to me would be the only thing that would make the pressure increase?

filling loop is closed, about the only thing i did'nt include.
pressure rises when ch has been running ,gradually increases over time 2- 3 days went from1.5 bar to 2 when cold
