Hi all,

We have recently moved into a property with a Baxi Bermuda Boiler in the lounge and it has been working fine for the last couple of months. However with all the recent cold weather it has been working hard and has developed a noise after a minute or so of firing up. It starts as a low pitched hum which gets slowly louder never becoming too loud, judst there and more annoying than anything and then when the boiler finishes firing it gets slightly higher pitched for 10 or so seconds and then stops, getting higher pitched until it does but never what i would call high pitched.

Any help in identifying it will be much appreciated

I would say that it was the gas selenoid valve, Has it been serviced lately.
