Hi , I have a Baxi boiler and though the hot water is flowing it dosent seem to be getting hot.

The important part of this is that the 60 degree setting is flashing.......any ideas?

EDIT[ pressure is at 1.1 bar ;)

Sorry Spacethegas my spelling isnt great on keyboard :D

Cant give you much more info im afraid. It was ok one minute then nothing.

Hot water flowing but not getting hot.

Lights go through the stages of heat e.g 20,40 up to 60 then on 60 it flashes and no hot :!:

my speilig is not to good either, but thats not what i was getting at.

the boiler model would be handy as they have produced 100s of models.

either the hot water gets hot then goes cold, its luke warm, is cold etc.

does heating work ?

you get the idea.

my wild guess is it is a combi of some description & the dhw diaphragm is knacked.

Thanks for your help so far ;)

60°C flashing indicates a primary flow switch problem, start with checking pressure guage is at least 1 bar and the auto air vent cap is loose.

Found the problem.

Your right i had to re-fill the system but then noticed water was coming out the expansion pipe.

What do you think has failed?

Going to get someone in soon to fix it.

who said you had to refill the system ?

what is this problem you have found ?

how do you think we can tell you what failed, as you have given us no information ?

Ello,

Yes the pressure was down to 0 this mourning so i refilled it via filling loop and it was ****ing out the expansion pipe so i guess theres a diaphram gone faulty or something which was shuting down the boiler.

Many thanks for your help
