Baxi PRV Cartridge replacement

Not sure how to remove the existing cartridge - the new cartridge is part threaded any advice much appreciated

Where did you obtain this “spare” cartridge? I would have just replaced the whole PRV - it’s a safety device.

Baxi service engineer who carried out annual service on my Megaflo cylinder identified the problem and the part number - ordered the cartridge from city plumbing supplies

If it’s available as a spare then and it’s correct then unscrew the existing one and replace with that one, simples

And if that is the case, make sure you dress the valve seat to avoid a bad seal. i've never seen such a spare.

On the face if it - turn off the isolating valve and twist the cartridge anticlockwise to remove.... ?
I only query because the engineer mentioned using spanner (tool) in the process yet I can see no need!

So how would you twist the cartridge anti-clockwise without a spanner or grips? I doubt if turning the knob would achieve the desired effect.
