Baxi Solo 3 PF boiler / pump problem

if bulb remains on (and you connected it in parellel) then prob must be with pump - I would suspect its seizing up when it gets hot.

Once again thanks to you all for your time.

I am sure that the pump is wired correctly as it has worked ok for years.

It's easy to see both ends of the connections as the boiler is in a cellar & the pump is along side (so everything is easily accessible)

I think a new pump is my next job. I will keep you posted.

Try connecting the bulb (lamp) onto the pump connections. This will prove the wiring also and then only leave the pump.

New pump fitted and everything is working perfectly.

No more overheat cut outs & upstairs radiators are getting hotter than they have in a long time, so I guess the pump has been dodgy for a while.

Thanks to all who helped
