We have a 42" Sony Bravia tv which is nearly 18 months old. Had to have the main circuit board replaced after a couple of months under the warranty. We do not have it connected to wi fi as signal not brilliant but we don't really bother with catch up programmes, if needed we watch on my desktop pc. About 2 weeks ago the news items on the red button ceased to work, initially a message came up saying there may be a fault at their end or to check our broadband connection, ( not on as mentioned). Now the message has gone and nothing happens when red button pressed. Oddly we can get it through the recorder box and the tv in our kitchen can get it ok too. Anybody any idea why this is happening? As we can access it via the pvr it is not a big deal but am annoyed it has gone from the tv.
