I have a beko CDA645FW fridge freezer, It was always quite noisy lots of gurgling etc but it has now quietened down a lot.
The trouble is I am forever moping water up from inside the fridge, I have tried puggling the drain hole in the overflow but to no avail.
The fan in the freezer doesnt seem to be turning either.

Apart from the water the appliance seems to be working fine.

Any ideas?

The drain hole in the fridge needs cleaning out, use a long thin cable tie or piece of wire, this allows the water to run down to the evaporator.

The fan in the freezer only runs when the door is shut.

I did puggle the hole with a wooden kebab skewer. I will have another go with a bit of long thin stiff stuff.

If it is a frost free the fan also will not run during the heating cycle (or you would end up with cooked food in the freezer).
Some fans will not run when everything is at the right temperature as it would be a waste of energy, if it is the fan to provide the cooling air to the fridge (typical on many frost free types) if the fridge is at the right temp it will not run to prevent the fridge freezing up.
Another cause of the fan not running is that the freezer needs defrosting (ice builds up in them and can stop the blade rotating). The frost free bit is a tadge misleading really.
Depending on the fan motor yes they can stop nearly instantly, if you have vents in the fridge that provide the cooling air feel if air is blowing out (some will stop the fan running with the fridge door open as well.
If you have a mechanical switch on the doors you can operate them so the fridge thinks the doors are shut and check, if it has a reed switch its a little bit more difficult but still doable.
