Beko Top Oven/Grill Trips Electric.

Hi,

When we turn on the top oven, the kitchen electric trips.

The main oven works OK.

Does this just need a new element?

Possibly, also possibly the fan if it has one. Disconnect (and isolate) the wires from the element and see if it still trips.

No fan in the top oven.

How do I disconnect it?

can you see the top heating element from inside the oven? 2 screws holding it in place, either from the inside of the oven or you will have to remove the rear panel to access the wires to the element. be sure to safely isolate the wires so they are not touching anything i.e bare metal, before powering the oven back on.

does the element look swollen/ bulging or burnt out, its sometimes obvious.
