You would think that when these dictaters fiddle an election that they would keep the numbers plausible

This bell *** fiddled / rigged the election to give his self 80% of the vote.
Some thing like a
60 / 40 fiddle would have been more sensable and may well have fooled the electorate:idea:

Well, Putin had the sense to fiddle only 77%, so perhaps he could offer his services as a paid adviser (y)

52/48 sounds better...

Although one side would say beforehand that if that were the result they would demand another shot at it...

Of course they would change their tune if it went their way

Even Maggie, God rest her soul only got 44% of the vote, and they don't come much better than her.(y)
Margaret Thatcher, architect of the Single Market...it wouldn't have happened without her :D

Margaret Thatcher got 43% of the Vote
Tony Blair got 43% of the vote

Just for interest.

Labour got 3.7 million fewer votes than Tories, and lost.

Trump got 3 million fewer votes than Clinton, and won.

It was a draw, then.

So did Johnson - well 42.4%.

Just shows how poor is the system.
Amazing how the majority of the electorate never gets the parliamentary make up they voted for...

Just imagine if we had a system that was more representative...

Now where do you imagine we could find that type of electoral system?
