2 parents with 3 children with weekly net income below £1254 per week can apply.
Is that something like a £100k salary, it must be getting on for that.
It’s for super market vouchers, a one off. Not classed as benefits.
It seems a very high top limit to me, It would seem surprising that somebody on that sort of salary would be in poverty and need supermarket vouchers
It is true that poverty is reaching well up into the middle classes nowadays - and costs for child care are astronomical, but I’m thinking of say teachers on way lower salaries than £100k

So its not a government policy that has been in for a few years and applied for through your local council to the DWP and was not brought in by reform ?

I had never heard of this scheme. But it seems to be a central government fund administered by local councils. And each council gets to set their own criteria.

Government supply the funds, each council manages it and implements their own criteria, Some give less with stricter ways of qualifying, such as, the need to already be on benefits.
Reform decided to give it to people on almost £100k a year.
