Best Appliance Backing onto Central Heating Pipes?!?

Hi

I've just built a tiny utility room and had a new boiler installed. The plumber has put 4 pipes vertically up the wall (central heating flow, return, hot water and cold water) which are further over than I anticipated. This means that we now have to back an appliance onto them. Which will also be sitting under a work top. One side of the appliance will be a wall, the back has a wall (and now pipes) and the other side is a void which is where the sink will sit.

We literally have no space so have no option but to put one of a washing machine, tumble dryer or a freezer in the space backing onto the pipes.

Any ideas which appliance would be best to back onto the pipes? Is there anything we can do to help reduce the heat coming off the pipes? We have millimetres to play with so not lots of options.

Thanks for your help in advance!

I'd suggest "freezer", on the basis that:

- it won't jump around like a demented raver, potentially damaging your plumbing;
- the washing machine and tumbler dryer will both need space behind, for their own plumbing / venting.

Simple move the pipes, presumably they're coming straight down from the boiler they could be altered to run horizontally beneath the boiler to either corner then run vertically down if the floor needs to be taken up to alter them it's easy enough.
