Best bathroom sealer please

Hi can anybody recommend a good silicone sealer please? I need to re seal a shower tray. the last lot only lasted 2 years ta

also the best way to remove the old sealer without damaging the shower tray and grout. thanks

I use sharp wood chisel, stanley blades are simply too short, finish with sealant eater to get the fine stuff off.

when wanting a long lasting job. PS You can get it much cheaper than in the link - maybe down to 8 quid a tube

its down to personal choice for your silicon, personally I always choose to use CT 1

I have used CT1 to seal back to wall WCs with the cistern hidden behind MDF rather than silicone (which you can't paint over). Unfortunately the CT1 has turned yellow in time.

I like the product and do use it but it ain't as good as its marketing would suggest.
