Best flooring for use with computer chair with castors/wheel

What is the best type of flooring which will withstand regular use of a computer - type chair ? I want to replace a carpet over a screeded floor with something else (real wood, engineered wood, veneered laminate, carpet again etc etc.)
Any ideas anyone?

Cork!

Honestly - not because we sell it - but I've had a cork floor (floorboards) in another shop we used to work for in the 'office'. In all two years with the office chair on wheels etc no wear and tear was noticeable.

My wife & I have 2 computers, & for the last 9 years had carpet tiles down (sorry cant remember the make) with 2 x 5 wheeled computer chairs & no sign of wear.
