clay cladding? Is that tiles? What is the house behind the cladding made of?

Is there a waterproof membrane and insulation behind?

Hi, sorry not sure if clay cladding was the correct term to use, it feels the same as roof tiles but someone they attached them to the wall, the wall behind is brick I believe
