Best method to paint a white wooden front door black

Hi
Can anyone please give me some tips on the best and quickest way to paint a
white wooden front door black.

ie what primer or paint is best and could i use one coat or is a primer a better idea and what colour primer and how many coats.

After sanding, and priming any bare bits, I would apply two dark grey undercoats.

Assuming all traces of white have gone, apply the black topcoat.
