Hi all.

Need to take a few mm's from the bumpy surface concrete of my 10sqm (3.5m x 3m) garage.

Will a hand-held grinder tackle this in decent time? Would a larger stand up/pull grinder be overkill!?

Cheers

Did a similar job recently - a bit less area - with a stand up machine. It took ages and was quite hard work and I dread to think what it would have been with hand grinder. I'd go for the stand up.

A diamond grinding cup on a mini grinder is very efficient. But give some thought to dealing with all the dust.

Cheers. Yeah only looking at models with a decent extraction mechanism (and PPE).

It's quite a skilled job to get it all flat. Personally, I would sub in a pro grinding company. By the time you've acquired all the kit I doubt there's that much in it.
