What would be the best type of saw to use to saw a plastic triangular ruler in half? The ruler is 30cm length, 2.5cm width, 1.5cm height

I've measured it and it would be the perfect shape to replace a missing filing cabinet slider/track part.

there are so many different strengths and types off plastic don't assume it will do the job
by all means try it but support the drawer in case off failure when fully loaded
junior hacksaw will be fine

You would be better with a strip of flat aluminium.
I used it to make file hanger runners in my draws.

The problem with using that ruler, is that it may not be at the correct scale for the drawers

I would usually look for a fine-toothed saw such as a hacksaw or junior hacksaw to cut plastics.
