So out of the six that your in with is only one going to be called back?

No. If i was one of the lucky ones to get all the 6 'must get' questions right. Also the pass mark was set at 60%. Then the assessor said that they sit down with your application form and decide wether or not to call you back for the interview. So passing that theory test is NO guarantee of getting an interview. Getting the interview is also NO guarantee of being chosen for the job.

Working for BG at the moment seems to be a lottery.

they could probably care less about the actual answers you gave and will concentrate more on whether or not you can be moulded into a BG engineer.

Which is where the personality test comes into play, So they're probably looking for people that are placid, nt easily stressed and who they belive will be with the company for a number of years,

Exactly! The ideal BG repair engineer!

That 60% pass mark seems pretty abysmally low to me! Expressed another way they are still happy if their engineers get 40% wrong !!!

the pass mark may be 60% tony but i doubt they would hire anyone at that level.
