This is a typical symptom of a DHW heat exchanger which is partially blocked on the CH side. It is the result of a failure to properly clean the system according to the British Standards when the boiler was installed or the introduction of new oxygen since.
The cure is to remove and replace or clean the DHW heat exchanger. We charge in the Midlands.
Depending on the severity of debris in the system it may be advisable to have the system power flushed or chemically cleaned to prevent a reoccurance.
We supply new 24 kw heat exchangers for but they can be satisfactorily be cleaned with the right chemicals and skills however we would not recommend this as DIY job.
