Are there any Brexiters out there who, like myself, feel we are being short-changed by our negotiators?
Since the activation of A50, May and her team have given concession after concession to the EU, assuming that if we act 'nice', they will reciprocate and be 'nice' with us. This betrays a total lack of understanding of how to negotiate.
The UK team has bent over backwards to try and please the EU but whatever we suggest is thrown back - always just on principle.
And now the EU is just sitting back smugly, using N. Ireland as a pawn to thwart Brexit - they don't care about the GFA or about Ireland itself.
It's about time May remembered her words: 'Brexit means Brexit'.

N. Ireland as a pawn to thwart Brexit

After about two years, the UK has not decided how it wants trade between Continental EU, EU Ireland, GB, and NI to work. Not much chance of getting an agreement when you don't know what you're asking for.

whatever we suggest is thrown back

Your government hasn't made a workable proposal. It's currently arguing with itself over two alterative baskets of piffle, neither of which are acceptable to the UK Parliament or to the EU.

The Republic of Ireland is a member of the EU, and the EU is duty bound to protect the interests of its members.

Ireland, like all the other remaining members of the EU, has a veto on any deal reached with the dUK.

What did you think would happen?

As a Brexiteer, what did you think you were voting for? What did your leaders in your campaign promise you?

Where do you want the new Border Posts to be?

You didn't believe them... did you?

No. It's all going to plan. You just don't realise what the plan is.

The plan is simple, firstly EU want the UK to stay for the subs it pays.

And the plan the EU has is forging ahead with greater integration whilst diminishing the power of nation states.

The Brexit negotiations show the power of the EU and its monopolistic behaviour.

Nation states no longer have any influence.

The UK wont leave.

The EU has given up expecting anything sensible, and is watching in bemused horror as dUK drives itself towards the cliff.

Ok let's say your right. They just sit back and watch us drive off a cliff. There would be a mass exodus of immigrants going back to their own country's.

Who would this help??? No one !!! Why would you and the EU want this to happen .It's only going to have a bad effect on the rest of the EU.

Why would you and the EU want this to happen

I don't.

The EU doesn't.

But it's what the Quitters voted for, and they want to prevent anyone having the chance to reconsider when they find out what Brexit means.

The House of Lords said that Parliament should have the chance to vote on the "deal" once it was eventually constructed. The Quitters, and their propaganda rag, said that was "treason" and that Parliament shouldn't be allowed to have a vote. Remember?

Calling it the Fourth Reich shows how you truly feel, and, along with

"so we should just walk, no deal" show that your feelings should be ignored.
