Hi
I am wondering if anyone can suggest a good durable, long lasting finish for untreated Birch-faced plywood joinery. We'd really like to keep the characteristics of the birch (clear finish).
We're looking for a clear finish, preferably a glossy or satin to gloss finish and something that can be relatively easy to apply, since all the joinery has been assembled.
I was looking at WOCA Lacquer Oil initially however this is quite expensive. I'd be happy to use a cheaper version for the inside of the joinery (satin or matt finish) and a glossier finish for the front of the doors. I'm planning to use this finish throughout the flat.
Hope you can help.
