I think a bottle of Oasis and 3 straws should suffice, forget the hosepipe.

Just found a baby blue tit in the garden beside my log pile. I knew there was a nest in the log pile but not exactly where.

So I put the baby on top of the log pile and watched, amazingly both parents found it and fed it.

I watched for a while and eventually they gave away the nest entrance, so I picked up the baby and pocked it in the entrance - it was very reluctant and was trying to scratch and bite me - but once it realised it was home it scooted back to the nest - AHHHH.

Don't worry, just set fire to the logs and you'll soon smoke the bstrds out.

about 7 oclock this morning, we're keeping an eye out for them, their running round the garden, plenty of cover so they should be OK!

This has been a great thread, well done Richardp for letting us have the oppurtunity to admire one of natures miracles.

Where next for the famous Diynot webcam?

Echo what Mr Tim says, been a brilliant experience.
Keep popping in to check on the last liitle 'un.
Hoping to see him leave but its probably just luck that I log in when he does.
Once again, thanks for sharing with us.

Just popped in and he/she is trying to have a go.
