Blanking off old immersion switch

As you don't know for certain what the cable is that has tape on it ,seperate them as my last post.
The switch position ,where you have followed EFL'S advice of putting the three conductors together in one communal terminal block is ok PROVIDING it is not the supply cable !
And putting all three conductors together ,EFL's advice included adding an earth link connecting them to the earth terminal of the galvanised box ,(with the earth conductor of the other cable ). But I think you already realised that.
Edit....
Apologies ..EFL has posted already.

Ok, I think I've got it now - here's what I've done where the switch was in the kitchen:

The supply live and neutral terminated in individual blocks with the earth connected to the back box (along with the earth wire from the outgoing immersion cable). The three outgoing wires terminated in a 5-way block together with an additional earth cable which is also attached to the back box.

Upstairs in the airing cupboard I've done this:

All three wires and earth individually terminated in their own blocks. Now I just need to fit the blanking plates. I'm pretty sure what I've done now is correct but please let me know if you spot any mistakes!

Thanks for everyone's help with this. I know it's basic stuff but I've not tackled this before so your advice is much appreciated.
