Hi folks, I've just moved into a house with a Grant Minor 1 S oil burner on a Grant 50-90 Euroflame. Ran out of oil and need to bleed the burner. Feel a bit daft but can anyone tell me where the the bleed screw is. Thanks.

Why didn't you fill up the tank as soon as you moved in?

Did you take the opportunity to desludge the tank when you let it run out?

I'm sure this must be very helpful, but it's a bit too subtle for me.

The oil pump is black, possibly a Danfoss BFP 11 R3. Taking out any of the screws will allow oil through if the tank is above the burner. Alternatively turn off the oil, remove the end of the flexi pipe, put pipe in a container, turn on oil untilgaps in flow stop, then put the pipe back and do the connection up . Check for oil leaks.
