Blinds

Hi

Not sure if in right cat, anyhoo here's my Q.

Has anyone ever seen a mechanical blind system that you can adapt to standard blinds

Mine have a wooden stick attached to the top part which I twist to open, not that am lazy but I love my gadgets and having electrical blinds that open using a remote would be awesome!!!

Any info would be great

The electric motor sits in the top and turns the spindle that your rod turns at present, simple to fit but motors burn out quickly is anything obstructs the blind.You then have to run the wiring to a control box which provides power and can be operated via a remote if needed.

I do have a gap above my blinds, cant measure it exactly maybe 4" am guessing the depth of the motor doesn't come out further than the blinds do

If you can send me a link I can investigate it myself thanks for your help

The motor sits in the blind header not above it,
