If there's good ventilation in the house, airbricks, kitchen and bathroom extractors then there won't be that much moisture going into the roof anyway, and if underfelted roof, it might just keep the temp high enough in the loft to prevent water condensing.
Too many "if"s and "might"s for me - but the OP can make up his own mind!
