I have a quite old conventional Glow worm boiler mounted on the wall with vent flue to the outside. In the summer I only turned it on for 20 min hot water everyday. I just noticed that even when it is off, the upper part of the metal boiler casing feels a little warm (the lower part of the casing is ice cold though). Is it because the pilot light is on? Is it normal?

Many thanks for any advice.
